Broken Sword 2 and The Shivah in Humble Bundle

For just a little while longer, you can pick up Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror Remastered from Humble Bundle for any amount you feel like paying (along with Bridge Constructor, Type:Rider and Ravensword: Shadowlands).  If you pay more than the average (currently just under $4 USD), you'll also receive The Shivah Kosher Edition (along with Kingdom Rush, Knights of Pen & Paper +1 Edition, Savant - Ascent, and Syder Arcade).

The 2014 Amnesia Fortnight Top 10 Finalists have been announced. They are:

Breach - a space sim 3rd person shooter by Geoffrey Soulis.

Dear Leader - An emergent narrative game by Anna Kipnis, where you play a despotic ruler guiding the future of a post-revolution Republic.

Derelict - an exploration game by Oliver Franzke, in which you'll have to find out what happened to the crew of an abandoned spaceship drifting through outer space.

Eras of Adventure - an adventure game by Justin Bailey that journeys through the different eras of adventure games - begin in a text based adventure, move to the 8-bit graphics era, through points & click, and finally arrive in the modern day renaissance of the genre.

ether - a game by Andrew Wood about the joy of exploration; skimming over the ruins of derelict ships scattered across a lonely, desolate island.

ExtraTerrarium - An open-world Action Puzzler by Asif Siddiky, where you observe the behavior of alien wildlife and adopt their abilities to survive in a hostile ecosystem.

Mneumonic - a surreal, first-person noir adventure by Derek Brand, where you explore and rearrange memories in order to solve the murder of the woman you loved. Along the way you'll discover the impermanence of your remembered experiences and uncover secrets that are found only in the deepest realms of your consciousness.

Project 行 - a spell-casting fighting game, by Duncan Boehle, based on the five Chinese elements.

Steed - a game by John Bernhelm, in which you play a horse-for-hire and save a storybook land full of inept heroes.

What Could Go Wrong - a summer camping slasher horror adventure game by David Gardner that captures the aesthetic of the films from the 70's and 80's. 

Now you can vote on the top 10 prototypes, and the three with the highest votes will be made into Amnesia Fortnight prototypes. The three winning prototypes will be announced on Thursday.

You still can vote on the four prototype pitches by Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward, to decide which prototype game project he will lead as well. To get a chance to vote on the prototypes, all you have to do is head over to The 2014 Amnesia Fortnight and pay a minimum of $1 to vote on and get the three Double Fine prototypes or pay more than the average to vote on and get Pendleton Ward's prototype as well. Or you can pay $35 to get to vote and download all of the prototypes, plus get all of the prototypes on DVD plus the 2-Player Productions documentary of the event on Blu-Ray.

That's not the only Double Fine Humble Bundle that's going on though. The Humble Weekly Sale is all about Double Fine, with Psychonauts, Costume Quest, Stacking, and Brutal Legend up for PC, Mac, and Linux (for Steam or DRM-free) for whatever you wish to pay, including their soundtracks. Humble Weekly Sale On a Telltale Bundle

The Humble Weekly Sale this week is a Telltale Bundle. Pay what you want and get Back to the Future: The Game, Hector: Badge of Carnage, Poker Night 1, Puzzle Agent 1, Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse, and Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures. The games are all on PC and Mac (except for Wallace & Gromit which is PC only) for Steam and DRM-free (except, strangely Hector episode 2 (and only episode 2) for Mac, which is Steam only). You'll also get downloadable soundtracks for Hector and Puzzle Agent.

If you pay more than the average (currently less than $5 USD), you'll also get The Walking Dead for Steam.

Bundle In A Box: Cerebral Bundle

Bundle In A Box once again is offering a bundle with adventure games (although this time the bundle includes non-adventures as well), with the Cerebral Bundle.

For a minimum of $1.99 USD, you'll get the RPG adventure Phantasmaburbia and the graphical text adventure Necrotic Drift Deluxe, as well as the puzzle games Dédale De Luxe and Vampires!, and the romantic life simulation game Dinner Date.

If you pay more than the average (currently just under $6 USD), you also get the adventure games J.U.L.I.A, I Get This Call Every Day, Cognition Episode 1: The Hangman, and Reversion: Episode 2: The Meeting.

The Stuffing Bundle bundles 4 Adventure Episodes

Indie Royale's Stuffing Bundle is on now. It includes seven games, including the adventure game The Dream Machine chapters 1-3 and the adventure puzzle game Puzzle Agent 2. It also includes Children of the Nile: Enhanced Edition, Anomaly: Warzone Earth and Adventure Apes and the Mayan Mystery.

Double Fine Amnesia Fortnight Humble Bundle

The Double Fine Amnesia Fortnight process is going on again this year, only this time they are making the whole process public through a Humble Bundle. If you pay a minimum of $1, you'll get to vote on which game pitches Double Fine will turn into prototypes. There are all kinds of game styles available to choose from in the pitches, from puzzle games, to platformers, to action adventures, and even a text adventure!  The four pitches with the highest number of votes will be made into prototypes in a two week period.

Everyone who donates $1 or more will get access to the four chosen prototypes and also get downloads of two prototypes from the first Amnesia Fortnight that were made into games: Happy Song (which became Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster) and Costume Quest.

If you donate more than the average (currently at just under $7 USD), you will also get a prototype of Brazen, a Monster Hunter inspired game with Ray Harryhausen inspired stop motion animation.

The Journey Down On IndieGameStand.com

Adventure Games in MacHeist 4

The Macheist 4 Bundle gives you 12 applications and games for Mac, for only $29 USD.  There are 3 more games and apps that will unlock at a point when a certain amount of bundles are sold.

Three adventure games are included in the bundle: Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, and Jurassic Park: The Game, all of which are through Steam.

Pay What You Want for the AGS Bake Sale Bundle

The AGS Bake Sale Bundle is a new game bundle in the same vein as the Humble Indie Bundle and other similar bundles, where you pay what you want for the bundled games and the proceeds go to charity (In this case Child's Play, the charity that gives video games to sick children to enjoy).

There are 14 games in the bundle, and all the games are brand new games made specifically for the bundle using the Adventure Game Studio game creation utility. Not all of the games are adventures, but since they were all created using Adventure Game Studio, a number of them are.

Pay What You Want For Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle

The Humble Indie Bundle, where you pay what you want for a package of indie games and decide how to split your money between the developers and charity, is back in the form of the Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle.

This bundle originally started out only including the game Frozen Synapse, but now it includes Space Chem, and the adventure game Trauma. In Trauma, you enter the mind of a woman who has been hospitalized after a car accident and try to make sense out of the images of her dreams.

If you pay more than the average price, you also get the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle, which, while it doesn't include any adventure games, includes the games Trine, Shadowgrounds, Shadowgrounds Survivor, the prototype game Jack Claw, and a preorder for the puzzle game Splot.
