Moebius Is Now Available for Linux

Jane Jensen's crowd funded return to adventure gaming, Moebius, is now available for Linux.  People who purchase it now will get access to the Linux version, and if you purchased it already (including crowdfunding backers), you'll be able to download the Linux version now at no extra cost.

Humble Bundle Full Of Adventures

The Humble Weekly Bundle is an adventure bundle this week.  Pay whatever you like for Detective Grimoire, Broken Sword 1 & 2, and The Whispered World Special Edition.  If you pay more than the average, you'll also get The Detail: Episode 1, A Golden Wake, and Cognition: Game of the Year Edition.  If you pay $10 or more, you'll also get Broken Sword 5.

There's also a Star Wars bundle going on. There are 9 Star Wars games if you pay $12 or more, and the site says that there's more yet to be announced.

Moebius Is Out Now For Windows and Mac

Moebius, the crowd funded adventure from Gabriel Knight creator Jane Jensen's Pinkerton Road Studio and Cognition creator Phoenix Online, is now available. If you order from The Phoenix Online store, they have a promotion going on for 20% off Moebius if you use the code CSGMOEB20OFF

A Linux version and French, Italian, German, and Spanish translations are not available at launch, but they are currently in development and will be coming soon.

Jane Jensen's Moebius is set to release on April 15, but you can pre-order it now from GOG.com. The GOG.com pre-order will get you the game and the soundtrack when the game releases, plus GOG.com has an exclusive deal in that those who pre-order the game will be able to play the first two chapters of the game immediately after purchase.

Gabriel Knight 20th Anniversary Edition Announced

Gabriel Knight 20th Anniversary Edition is a high definition remake of the original 1993 adventure Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, which will be created by series creator Jane Jensen's Pinkerton Road studio and Moebius developer Phoenix Online Studios.

This game is the Mystery Game X which was announced last year.   Jane Jensen has been pitching a Gabriel Knight game many times over the years, to three different rights holders of the series, and she credits the success of the Pinkerton Road kickstarter with finally getting Activision to work out a deal.

The remake’s story and gameplay will remain faithful to the original, but the artwork and voices are being completely redone. According to Jane Jensen, the art will "stay true to the spirit of the original but, since we have such better resolution, [they worked] in a lot more New Orleans flavor and voodoo flavor where we could".  The loss of the original voice recordings required the voices to be re-recorded.  The voice recordings will be handled by Bay Area Sound, the studio responsible for the voice recordings in Telltale's games.

The Final Episode of Cognition Is Out Now

Cognition, the four part episodic mystery adventure game by Phoenix Online Studios and story consultant Jane Jensen is now complete with the release of the final episode, The Cain Killer.

The Final Cognition Episode Releasing September 19

The finale of the Erica Reed mystery adventure series Cognition, by Phoenix Online Studios and story consultant Jane Jensen, will be released next Thursday, September 19th.  Episode 4: The Cain Killer will finally wrap up the series, but it's left to be seen whether Erica Reed, the detective with retrocognitive abilities, will get all the answers she seeks.

Cognition Episode 3: The Oracle Is Out Now

The penultimate episode of Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller by Phoenix Online and Jane Jensen, is now available from The Phoenix Online Studios Store. In this episode, you don't just play as Erica Reed, but you get to play as the killer who has been playing games with her.

The finale is scheduled to be released in the third quarter of 2013.

Bundle In A Box: Cerebral Bundle

Bundle In A Box once again is offering a bundle with adventure games (although this time the bundle includes non-adventures as well), with the Cerebral Bundle.
