Return to Monkey Island Announced
I apologize that I haven't been around. I've been ill for a while. I still am, unfortunately. But news has happened that caused me to want to post here again regardless.
Ron Gilbert's take on a Monkey Island game that tells the story about what happened after the cliffhanger ending of Monkey Island 2 is no longer hypothetical. It will be released later this year.

Delores - A free Thimbleweed Park game and source released
Another tidbit that I missed while I was away was an awesome small Thimbleweed Park game titled Delores.
The game is available for free at GOG.com, Steam, and Epic.
The source code of the game (but not the engine) is also free to tinker with at Github.

David Fox and Ken Macklin Join the Thimbleweed Park Team!

The first is Ken Macklin, who designed the cover for Maniac Mansion. He will be doing the cover for Thimbleweed Park as well.
The second is the creator of Zak McKracken, David Fox. He worked on Maniac Mansion as well, doing most of the SCUMM scripting for the game, and is apparently the one we have to thank for the hamster in the microwave joke.
So if you haven't backed yet, or want to move up a pledge tier, now's the perfect time to head over to the kickstarter and back the game.

Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick Turn To Kickstarter
Thimbleweed Park is the curious story of two washed up detectives called in to investigate a dead body found in the river just outside of town. It’s a game where you switch between five playable characters while uncovering the dark, satirical and bizarre world of Thimbleweed Park.
If this sounds interesting to you, then head over to The Thimbleweed Park Kickstarter and pick a pledge tier.
