Game & Watch: Ball

Game & Watch: Ball was a juggling game by Nintendo Research & Development 1 that was published by Nintendo in a standard screen format with a silver case in 1980. A keychain version was released as part of the Nintendo Mini Classics line in 1998.

In North America, it was published by the toy corporation Mego as Time-Out: Toss-Up. The Mego partnership expired after a year, and Nintendo of America distributed it under the original title.

In Germany, it was published by the toy corporation Bienengraeber as tricOtronic: Jongleur (Juggler).

Ball used frame-by-frame movement on a liquid crystal display and was the first Game & Watch console. It was succeeded by the second Game & Watch console, Flagman.

It was remade in Game Boy Gallery for Game Boy in 1995. Ball was then remade in Game & Watch Gallery 2 for Game Boy in 1997, for Game Boy Color in 1998, and for the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console in 2012. It was also reproduced accurately as DSiWare for the Nintendo DSi in 2009. In addition, Ball could be unlocked in the 2006 Nintendo DS title Kanji Sonomama DS Rakubiki Jiten (Known Kanji DS Easy Reference Dictionary).

The Game & Watch Ball console was re-released through Club Nintendo in 2010.

A version with Mario, and Luigi via a code, was included in the Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. console in 2020.
