The Edisons are back
I'm reviving all my old Mega Monkey sites - and building new ones so that I can finally accomplish my goal:
To have a fanpage for every LucasArts adventure game.
To have a fanpage for every LucasArts adventure game.
The fan pages are back
Tinternet's largest and last surviving Zak McKracken fan page is back. I'm reviving all my old Mega Monkey sites - and building new ones so that I can finally accomplish my goal set forth at the last update on February 12, 1999: to have a fan page for every LucasArts adventure game.
Mega Monkey is back to serve you with the best LucasArts information possible
I never quite accomplished my dream of having a fanpage for every LucasArts adventure game available, and I intend to do it this time around.
Check out the fanpages already available:
Cafe Calavera - Grim Fandango
The Jolly Rasta - Monkey Island Series
The Skolarian Device - Zak McKracken
The Edisons - Maniac Mansion Series

GFN is login-able again, and I have some great news!
Daily Radar has an article up about the Future of LucasArts. In it it gives a little hint about a possible Grim Fandango 2!
Although LucasArts, a privately held company, will not release sales figures, a spokesperson expressed confidence in the history and future of LucasArt's original titles. "The response to the Monkey Island series has been phenomenal," he said. "[And] Grim Fandango met domestic expectations and exceeded them worldwide.”
Will a Grim Fandango sequel be one of those titles? Currently there is no sequel to the critically acclaimed adventure game in the works. "There are still some great stories to be told," the spokesperson said about the universe. "While there are no specific plans at this point to develop a sequel to Grim Fandango, the ideas behind the story present a lot of possibilities for the future.”
This sounds VERY promising! Remember they said that there was no Monkey Island sequel in the works a couple of days before Escape from Monkey Island was announced. Looks like our petition worked! I'm bringing out the fine champagne - this is a means for celebration.

Thanks for your support over the years.
I have started an adventure game page that, unlike most other adventure pages will focus only on the pure adventure games.
Real Adventure.

Cafe Calavera is back in full swing
Cafe Calavera is back in full swing. I forgot to put up the links to the GrimLibs and GF Concentration games when I switched to the new format.
I restarted the Grim 2 Petition because the first one didn't do any good (we need more names), and with Tim Schafer gone, we really need to show that there is good reason to make a 2nd Grim. So come on my fellow living dead, let's band together and let LucasArts know what we really want!

In Loving Memory of William J McMurray
My father passed away today. He was a loving father to my sister and I and a beloved husband to my mother. He will be sorely missed. William J McMurray June 4, 1946 - March 11, 2000 |
