Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare

Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare was a horror adventure game developed by Darkworks, and published by Infogrames, that was released in 2001. It takes place seventy five years after the first game.  A new Edward Carnby had been born into the long line of shadow hunters that included the Edward Carnby from the original trilogy.

Edward Carnby investigates the death of his friend and partner, Charles Fiske, who was found dead near a mysterious island called Shadow Island, off the coast of Massachusetts.
