The Cave Injokes

"New Grog"
The New Grog machine is a reference to the Grog machine in the Monkey Island series, which was a parody of Coke machines. New Grog is a parody of New Coke, the failed attempt by Coca-Cola to introduce a new cola with a different formula from regular Coke. It is also a play on the fact that this is a new Grog machine in comparison to the old one found in the Monkey Island series.

Strong Badia the Free Injokes

I'm ready for my close up!

The secret shirt in Strong Badia the Free is Telltale Games' Kevin Bruner, as drawn by Graham Annable for the Telltale Blog. To get the shirt, jump off of the ledge in the Snap Shak until Strong Bad lands upside down (you can't be wearing a costume for this to work). Now try to enter the door from the bottom. If all goes well, Strong Bad should now be wearing the shirt.

Broken Sword: Angel of Death

Broken Sword: Angel of Death was the fourth installment in the Broken Sword series. It was the first game in the series to be developed by an outsourced company.  Sumo Digital programmed the game, in the Emmersion engine.  The story and puzzles were provided by Charles Cecil, the founder of Revolution Software, who had an executive producer credit on this game.  The same cooperation between the two companies would later be seen in Doctor Who: The Adventure Games.

"You doddering sack of scumm!"

Elaine calls LeChuck a "doddering sack of scumm". This is a reference to SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion), the scripting language used in LucasArts' adventure games for 10 years (from Maniac Mansion in 1987 to The Curse of Monkey Island in 1997) before being replaced with GrimE in Grim Fandango.
