Order of the Thorne And Roehm To Ruin On Kickstarter

There is a kickstarter going on for three new games from Infamous Quests, the creator of Quest from Infamy. The first game that will be funded by this campaign is Roehm To Ruin, prequel to Quest for Infamy, where more is revealed about where Roehm came from, and how he got himself into the mess that led him to flee to the Valley of Krasna.

 The kickstarter also will fund two episodes of Order of the Thorne, an anthology series where games and stories are set within the same land, but have different protagonists and stories in each game. The episodes which will be produced as a result of this Kickstarter include The King's Challenge, which is about an intrepid bard who embarks on the King's Challenge to save his Queen, and The Fortress of Fire, which follows Patrick "Addy", a young Squire to seasoned veteran knight, who is in for the fight of his life, as he sets off on a quest to save his waylaid master as they set off to explore the mysterious "Fortress of Fire".

Quest For Infamy Releases June 26th

Quest for Infamy, the crowd funded Sierra inspired adventure RPG by Infamous Quests (the creators of the Space Quest II and King's Quest III fan remakes), has received a release date.

It is now scheduled to be released for PC, Mac, and Linux on the 26th of June. The crowdfunded hint guide, the Quest for Infamy Companion will be released some time afterward.

The Quest For Infamy Companion Kickstarter

The Quest For Infamy Companion Kickstarter is going on now. This is a crowd funding effort for a hint book for the RPG adventure hybrid which was successfully funded through Kickstarter in 2012.  Quest for Infamy is inspired by Sierra titles, and likewise The Quest For Infamy Companion is inspired by Sierra's hint guides.  It will even contain a red decoder that will decode specific hints, in order to keep the other hints unspoiled.

The Kickstarter has many tiers, from a $5 tier that will get you thanks on the website (but won't get you the hint book), to a digital version of the hint book at $15, a physical soft cover version at $25, a digital and physical softcover version at $35, to a hardcover copy at $100.  There are also tiers available that include the game as well, if you missed it last time, or just want to up your pledge to get a physical copy of the game as well.  The tiers include options to get a DVD version of the game, or an old-school "big box" version, all the way up to "The Absolute "Infamous" Collector's Tier" at $500, which will get you a signed hardcover version of the hint book, a softcover version of the hint book, a digital version of the hint book, a digital version of the game, a big box version of the game, a canvas printing of your choice of artwork from the game, and a sketch of your likeness included in the foreward section of the hint book.

Quest for Infamy Demo and Kickstarter

Quest for Infamy is the first original adventure game by the creators of the Space Quest 2 and King's Quest III fan remakes. It is a hybrid point and click adventure game and RPG where you take the role of a man who is trying to start his life over after running away from a shady past. The team has released a demo so you can see how the game will play. They have launched a kickstarter campaign to help finance the game. They are seeking $25,000US, and like other kickstarters, there are multiple tiers to choose from with an assortment of goodies depending on how much you pledge.
