When Tim combines the two pieces of the dusty ancient artifact, they form a rubber chicken. Tim wonders where the pulley is, and decides it must be in the sequel.
The rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle was an object found in The Secret of Monkey Island, which was co-written by Tim Schafer.
