It was created by Videlectrix, the name given to the creators of Homestar Runner (plus programmer Jonathan Howe) when they create games of their characters.
The full version was released in 2023 and is made in Unity in the style of the Sierra and LucasArts graphic adventure games from the 1990s. They are a parody of the one-room internet adventure games that became popular on the internet in the late 2000s.
The first episode is playable in browsers at the Homestar Runner website and was included in the Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People DVD release from the Telltale Games store.
