Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective

Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective is an adventure game with full motion video acted by live action actors that contains three cases: The Case of the Mummy's Curse, The Case of the Tin Soldier, and The Case of the Mummified Murderess.

It was originally released on CD-ROM for computers and consoles in 1991. It received a release for standard DVD players in 1999 by DVD International with better quality videos than the versions released previously.

A Kickstarter campaign for the game was started on March 16, 2012 by Zojoi (founded by former employees of ICOM), intended to re-release the game with the high quality videos from the DVD release for modern platforms.  The Kickstarter was unsuccessful, but the re-release still occurred.  Zojoi released the high definition version of Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective on iPad on September 18, 2012 and on Windows and Mac OS X through Desura on October 7, 2012.
