Game & Watch: Vermin
  
Game & Watch: Vermin was a whack-a-mole game by Nintendo Research & Development 1 that was released by Nintendo in 1980. It used frame-by-frame movement on a liquid crystal display and was the third Game & Watch system. 

It was preceded by the second Game & Watch console, Flagman, and was succeeded by the fourth Game & Watch console, Fire.

The game was remade in Game & Watch Gallery 2 for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. It was also converted accurately for DSiWare the Nintendo DSi.

A version with Link hitting octoroks was included in the Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda console in 2021.
