Alone in the Dark 3 was a horror adventure game by Infogrames that was released in 1994. It takes place several months after the events of the second game. Private investigator Edward Carnby is gaining fame due to his previous two successes in investigating the supernatural. This time he investigates the disappearance of a film crew in a ghost town in the Mohave desert. One of those who disappeared is one of the protaganists of the original game, niece of the man who owned the mansion that began Carnby's supernatural investigation career.
