The Dream Machine Episode 3 Released

The Dream Machine Episode 3 is now available, after just making its revised release schedule of October 2011.

Now the plot begins to unfold as you use the dream machine to save your neighbors. The episodes are available online with flash. The first episode is free, the rest are available individually or in a pack containing all five at 20% off for people who order before the last episode is released.

Doctor Who: The Gun Powder Plot Out Now

The Gunpowder Plot, the first episode of the second series of Doctor Who: The Adventure games, is out now just in time for Halloween.

Other Halloween goodies that have a little bit to do with this blog include the Steam releases of an updated version of the platformer Psychonauts with a more lenient final level and cloud saves as well as a Mac version of Psychonauts, and a PC version of the Halloween themed Costume Quest RPG.

Also, Dave Grossman of Telltale Games has added a new pumpkin to his Pumpkin House of Horrors.

Doctor Who: The Gunpowder Plot Trailer

Doctor Who: The Adventure Games are beginning their second series on October 31st. The first episode centers around Guyfawkes and the November 5th gunpowder plot. Like the first series, the episodes will be free for UK residents. Non-UK residents will be able to purchase the episodes at a later date.

Jurassic Park Deluxe Edition for PC/Mac Preorders

Jurassic Park: The Game now has a deluxe pack available for preorder, as unlike usual Telltale games, all 4 Jurassic Park episodes will be released at once for PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 15 (and iPad sometime afterward), and people who preorder the deluxe edition will get digital downloads of the episodes immediately upon release date.

The preorders are $39.99 USD, and will go up to $49.99 USD after release. People who have the discount code given to previous preorders before Telltale moved the date can get the deluxe version of the game for $5 USD plus shipping during the preorder period.

Back to the Future Out At Retail for Wii and PS3

Back to the Future: The Game is now available at retail stores in the United States for the Wii and PlayStation 3 on a retail disc containing all six episodes for only $19.99 USD.

HD Remake of Leisure Suit Larry Out Next Year

Leisure Suit Larry HD is an upcoming high definition remake of the original Leisure Suit Larry by Replay Games. The game is being designed with creative input from Leisure Suit Larry creator Al Lowe. It is scheduled to come out next year for PC, Mac, XBLA, PSN, iOS, and Android.

Telltale's episodic Law & Order game coming Fall 2011

Telltale has announced that their upcoming game based on the Law & Order franchise will be coming out in Fall 2011, and that it will be episodic rather than straight to retail like its CSI games. The post doesn't mention the Los Angeles moniker (the show was cancelled shortly after Telltale's LA: LO game announcement), but at this point Telltale hasn't mentioned whether it will be based on Los Angeles, the main franchise (which itself ended in 2010), or the only surviving franchise (outside of Law & Order: UK) Law & Order: SVU.
