Yakuza 0, known in Japan as Ryu ga Gotoku Zero: Chikai no Basho (Like a Dragon 0: The Place of Oath) is a prequel to the Like a Dragon action RPG series. Young yakuza Kazama Kiryu and Goro Majima find themselves in the middle of a conspiracy involving an empty lot in Kamurocho, Tokyo.
It was released only in Japan for PlayStation 3 on March 12, 2015, for PlayStation 4 in Japan on March 12, 2015, and worldwide on January 24, 2017. It was also released worldwide for Windows on August 1, 2018, and for Xbox One on February 26, 2020.
A director's cut with additional cutscenes was released for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025.
