
Namcot was the Japanese console division of
Namco. Founded in 1984, the T stood for tomorrow, modeled after EPCOT, Disney's conceptual Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow. The last games as Namcot were released in 1995, after which Namco was used instead worldwide.
