The Walking Dead Season Two Pre-Orders Open

Telltale Games has a trailer available for The Walking Dead Season Two. They also are now taking pre-orders for the PC and Mac versions. If you pre-order directly from their online store, you'll also get a bonus DVD at the end of the season, with all the season's episodes and extras such as behind the scenes videos, for just the cost of shipping.

Double Fine Hosts Day of the Devs

Double Fine is teaming up with iam8bit to host a gaming night called Day of the Devs where gamers can come play games in development by several developers, and have food and refreshment while doing it.

The event will be the first opportunity to play Broken Age, as well as another game by Double Fine that is, at this moment, unannounced. Day of the Devs will also feature wares from iam8bit, Supergiant Games, Gaijin Games, Capy Games, SpyParty, Honeyslug, Tribute Games, and more for you to get your grubby impeccably clean hands on. Surprises will abound from special guests like Funomena, while the illustrious Phil Fish spins tunes in a one-of-a-kind DJ appearance.

Gabriel Knight 20th Anniversary Edition Announced

Gabriel Knight 20th Anniversary Edition is a high definition remake of the original 1993 adventure Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, which will be created by series creator Jane Jensen's Pinkerton Road studio and Moebius developer Phoenix Online Studios.

This game is the Mystery Game X which was announced last year.   Jane Jensen has been pitching a Gabriel Knight game many times over the years, to three different rights holders of the series, and she credits the success of the Pinkerton Road kickstarter with finally getting Activision to work out a deal.

The remake’s story and gameplay will remain faithful to the original, but the artwork and voices are being completely redone. According to Jane Jensen, the art will "stay true to the spirit of the original but, since we have such better resolution, [they worked] in a lot more New Orleans flavor and voodoo flavor where we could".  The loss of the original voice recordings required the voices to be re-recorded.  The voice recordings will be handled by Bay Area Sound, the studio responsible for the voice recordings in Telltale's games.

The Wolf Among Us Episode 1 Coming This Friday

Telltale has confirmed that the first episode of The Wolf Among Us will release for PC, Mac, and Xbox Live Arcade on October 11, 2013. North American and European release dates for PlayStation Network will be released within the next few days.

Also, IGN's Up At Noon has an interview regarding The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead Season Two, including footage of The Wolf Among Us in action.

Also, while on the subject of The Walking Dead Season Two, Telltale's PR person Laura Perusco confirmed that some time after the premiere of the first episode, Telltale is going to go ahead with their plan to have multiple seasons run concurrently by having The Walking Dead Season Two premiere while The Wolf Among Us season is still running.

The Cave is Out On iOS Now

The Cave, Double Fine's platforming adventure game that was written by Monkey Island co-creator Ron Gilbert and Idle Thumbs co-host Chris Remo, is now available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch from the iTunes App Store.
