Zork Nemesis

Zork Nemesis was the thirteenth game set in the Zork universe and the seventh game in the main Zork series. It was also the first Zork game to not be developed under the Infocom label.  It was released on February 26, 1996.  A nameless adventurer is sent to the Forbidden Lands by Vice Regent Syovar the Strong to investigate the disappearance of four prominent citizens.

Zork Nemesis is now supported by ScummVM, a program designed to let 2D adventure games run on multiple platforms. With ScummVM, Zork Nemesis now runs on modern versions of windows, as well as Linux, Mac OS X, and many consoles such as Dreamcast, Wii, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable.
